Europcar is seeking a proactive Credit Controller to join our Bruma, Johannesburg team. You will manage credit control, collect outstanding debts, and ensure accurate reconciliation while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities include daily collections, query resolution, reporting, and ensuring monthly targets are met. A minimum of 3 years in credit control and proficient Excel skills are required.

Formación

• 3 years in a credit control environment.
• NQF Level 4 (Matric or equivalent) preferred.
• Credit Management II or BCom in Finance is advantageous.
• Valid unendorsed driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Telephonic and electronic collections of all amounts due.
• Log a minimum of 32 customer contacts daily.
• Visit customers to maintain relationships and prevent issues.
• Achieve at least 100% of monthly targeted collections.
• Investigate and log queries on outstanding accounts and provide feedback.
• Analyze overdue amounts and highlight areas for improvement.
• Report on problem accounts; escalate to Credit Manager accordingly.
• Process and allocate payments per daily bank statements and remittance advice.
• Prepare journals with supporting documentation; maintain records and admin duties.
• Minimize bad debt and increase collections.
