Placements24 in South Africa seeks a diligent Credit Controller to manage the debtors’ book in Paarl. You will oversee the credit control process from allocation to collections and resolve queries to protect cash flow.

The role emphasizes timely payments, risk reporting, and collaboration with customers and internal teams. A Grade 12 with credit management exposure and solid Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification; credit management qualification is a plus.
• Proven experience in a Credit Control role.
• Good understanding of credit control procedures and debt collection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain assigned customer accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
• Contact customers to follow up on overdue accounts via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Resolve customer payment queries and discrepancies effectively and efficiently.
• Process customer payments and allocate them correctly to accounts.
• Identify and report on potential credit risks and bad debts.
• Assist with month-end reporting on debtor aging and collection performance.
