Job summary

Tongaat Hulett is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to manage the Debtors ledger, including chain stores, and to reconcile debtor accounts. You will handle debtor inquiries and undertake credit vetting for new and changed applications as per procedure.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and experience in FMCG/manufacturing contexts. SAP knowledge is advantageous and a valid driver’s license is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Matric with progress towards a Credit Management Diploma is preferred.
• At least 5 years' experience in credit management / debtors
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Experience in FMCG/Manufacturing is beneficial
• Attention to detail and good communication
• Having a valid driver's license is advantageous

Qualifications, Experience And Personal Qualities

• Matric and in possession of, or with progress towards, a Credit Management Diploma, or equivalent will be advantageous
• At least 5 years previous experience in the Credit field, computer literate (MS Word, Outlook & Proficient in Excel)
• SAP knowledge/experience an added advantage
• Ideally have FMCG/Manufacturing experience
• Attention to detail, good interpersonal and communication
• skills - possession of a valid Driver's Licence would be an advantage
