The role requires a strong understanding of product design principles, material selection, and manufacturing processes common in the consumer electronics industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in consumer electronics.
• Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and enclosures for consumer electronic devices using 3D CAD software.
• Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate with industrial designers, electrical engineers, and manufacturing partners throughout the product development cycle.
• Perform mechanical analysis (stress, thermal, drop testing simulations) to ensure product reliability and durability.
• Support prototyping and testing efforts, troubleshooting design issues, and implementing design revisions.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for mass production and cost-effectiveness.
