Job summary

Bonafide Human Capital Pty (Ltd) is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to manage and grow an existing customer portfolio in the Gauteng region within the international courier and freight forwarding sector. You will develop new business opportunities while sustaining long-term client relationships and meeting revenue targets.

The role requires consultative selling, strong negotiation, and solid account management skills, with a target-driven, commercially-minded approach to service

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience within the Courier and Freight Forwarding.
• Strong understanding of courier and freight forwarding sector.
• Demonstrated success in external sales, business development and account management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
• Ability to manage and grow existing customer accounts while developing new business.
• Strong consultative and solution-based selling skills.
• Excellent negotiation and commercial skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, retain and grow an established portfolio of customers.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities throughout Gauteng.
• Build strong, trusted and sustainable customer relationships.
• Conduct regular face-to-face customer visits and sales meetings.
• Identify customer requirements, challenges and pain points.
• Recommend appropriate courier and freight forwarding solutions.
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals and service solutions.
• Negotiate commercially viable agreements while protecting margins.
• Achieve monthly sales, revenue and portfolio growth targets.
• Identify cross-selling and additional service opportunities within existing accounts.
• Prospect for new customers and develop a healthy sales pipeline.
• Monitor customer activity and respond to changing requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of competitor activity and pricing trends.
• Maintain accurate customer, sales and opportunity information on CRM.
• Analyse sales reports and customer data to identify opportunities.
• Plan and manage customer appointments, travel and territory coverage.
