Responsibilities

We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across a defined area of the business. The ideal candidate will bring together cross-functional elements to support the effective delivery of supply chain operations, through supply planning, analysis and problem solving. From managing workflows in supply planning and timelines to supporting process improvements and stakeholder engagement, this role is central to ensuring that supply chain activities run smoothly and efficiently to deliver breakthrough performance.

Experience

Min/Ideal:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in supply chain coordination, with a focus on planning, analysis, and operational support in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record in managing supply planning processes, including inventory control, demand forecasting, and replenishment strategies
  • Strong analytical capability with experience in identifying trends, resolving supply-related issues, and driving continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Familiarity with inventory management, quality assurance, and risk mitigation practices
  • Skilled in reporting, interpreting operational data, and translating insights into actionable plans
  • Effective in managing supplier relationships and internal stakeholder engagement to support business objectives
  • Highly organized, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and multitask to meet deadlines and deliver results
Qualifications (Minimum)
  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management
Knowledge

Min/Ideal:

  • Solid understanding of supply chain principles, planning methodologies, and related systems and tools
  • Working knowledge of coordination and administration practices, including scheduling, stakeholder management, and process execution in a business environment
  • Proficiency in compiling and generating operational reports and performance metrics
  • Awareness of business and management fundamentals relevant to supply chain operations
  • Understanding of internal and external communication protocols to support supplier and stakeholder engagement
  • Knowledge of relationship-building strategies and stakeholder management within a logistics or supply chain context
  • Familiarity with applicable regulatory and compliance requirements impacting supply chain and inventory processes
