Job summary

Aspen Pharma Group in South Africa is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day logistics activities, ensure efficient resource planning, and uphold compliance. You will manage receiving, testing, stocking, picking and dispatching, coordinate inventory accuracy, and align capacity with production needs.

The role requires 3-5 years in logistics, a bachelor's degree or diploma in logistics, strong leadership, and a focus on health and safety standards within a GMP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in logistics or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in logistics, preferably with warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Experience with SOPs, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage receiving, testing, stocking, picking and dispatching activities.
• Liaise with Buyers and raise requisitions for maintenance, services and non-production requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, investigate discrepancies and shortages, minimise obsolete and redundant stock, and coordinate cycle counts and annual stock counts.
• Implement and enforce SOPs, systems, policies and procedures.
• Align warehouse capacity and operational requirements with production needs and ensure adherence to agreed plans.
• Provide input into operational budget requirements and manage delegated budgets.
• Provide day-to-day direction, manage team performance, overtime, absenteeism and IR matters.
• Support risk-based compliance and ensure Health & Safety requirements are met.
