Placements24 partners with a leading South African construction firm to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager in Randburg. You will oversee all contractual aspects—from tender to completion—drafting, negotiating and administering contracts.

You will liaise with project managers, legal counsel, and clients, ensuring compliance with SA contract law and standard forms such as JBCC, GCC, and FIDIC. A senior practitioner with 8+ years’ experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience specifically in construction contracts management.
• In-depth knowledge of South African contract law and standard forms of contract (e.g., JBCC, GCC, FIDIC).
• Proven experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and administration.
• Strong understanding of the construction project lifecycle and associated commercial aspects.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Superior negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• Based in or able to work effectively from Randburg and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
