Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Contracts Manager to oversee contract administration and negotiation for major construction projects in Mpumalanga. You will ensure compliance, mitigate risks and optimize commercial outcomes, collaborating with project teams, legal counsel and clients to meet contractual obligations.

Responsibilities include negotiating and drafting contracts, reviewing documents, managing tenders, and handling variations and disputes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of contract management experience in construction/engineering.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex construction contracts.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and standard forms (FIDIC/NEC).
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Understanding of construction processes and project financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with legal counsel and relevant stakeholders on contractual matters.

Requirements

• Proven track record in negotiating and managing complex construction contracts.
• In-depth knowledge of contract law, FIDIC, NEC, or other standard forms of contract.

• Relevant degree in Law, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
