Job summary

Elchemie seeks an results-driven sales professional in South Africa to drive new business in the contract cleaning sector. You will visit client sites, tailor service offerings, and prepare quotes and SLAs to win contracts.

You will report to the Sales Manager and travel regionally to client locations. The role emphasizes building long-term client relationships, understanding service delivery, and achieving sales targets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years proven sales experience in contract cleaning
• Sound understanding of cleaning methodologies, contract management and service delivery
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Strong business development and relationship management abilities
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle (mandatory)

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the contract cleaning industry.
• Promote the company’s full range of cleaning services and solutions.
• Conduct client visits and site assessments to determine service scope and requirements.
• Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and service-level agreements.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain and update client databases and sales activity reports.
• Develop and implement client-specific cleaning programs tailored to their operational needs.
• Build and sustain long-term client relationships to ensure satisfaction and contract renewals.
• Work closely with operations and management teams to ensure service delivery standards are met.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence to management.
• Attend industry-related events, meetings, and client presentations as required.
