Job summary

The Recruitment Pig is seeking an Internal Consumables Salesperson to join its Johannesburg team, handling toner, ink cartridge and office printer-supply sales with a focus on customer relationships and timely order processing.

Based in Marlboro, Sandton, you will quote, check stock and coordinate with logistics to ensure orders are dispatched on time, while building a pipeline of repeat business through proactive outreach and accurate data entry.

Qualifications

• Proven track record selling toner, ink cartridges and office printer supplies.
• Good telephone etiquette and clear communication.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Basic computer literacy and experience with sales databases or order systems.
• Solid arithmetic for calculating markups, discounts and totals.
• A positive attitude and reliable team-player mindset.

Responsibilities

• Process daily customer orders for printer toners, inks, media rolls, and office paper.
• Create and send accurate price quotes quickly using the internal computer system.
• Check warehouse stock levels to ensure orders are packed and dispatched on time.
• Follow up on open customer quotations to secure confirmed orders and close sales.
• Contact existing clients proactively when it is time for them to re-order supplies.
• Work closely with logistics and delivery drivers to track fast and reliable customer dispatches.
• Help customers with product codes, basic billing questions, and routine stock inquiries.
