Placements24 is seeking a Trainee Project Manager for an apprenticeship in Centurion with hybrid work options. You will support senior project managers on diverse construction projects, learning planning, scheduling, budgeting, site coordination and client communication.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and execution of construction projects under Senior Project Managers.
• Develop project schedules, track progress and identify delays.
• Support budget management, expenses and invoices.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff.
• Participate in site inspections and progress meetings.
• Prepare reports, documentation and correspondence.
• Learn to identify and mitigate project risks.
• Manage project documentation including permits and change orders.
• Ensure safety and quality standards on site.
• Facilitate communication among project team, stakeholders and clients.
