Job summary

You will lead safety inspections, investigations of incidents, and deliver toolbox talks and inductions. The ideal candidate has a National Diploma in Safety Management, SAIOSH registration, and at least four years of construction HSE experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a National Diploma in Safety Management.
• Registered as Safety Officer with SAIOSH or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of health and safety experience in construction.
• Knowledge of OHS Act, construction regulations, and risk assessment techniques.
• Strong communication, reporting, and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the site-specific Health and Safety plan.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and non-compliance.
• Investigate all site accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports and corrective action plans.
• Deliver health and safety training to all site personnel, including toolbox talks and inductions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant OHS Act regulations and construction industry standards.
• Maintain health and safety records and documentation.
