Job summary

Amana Living is seeking a Multi Skilled Carer to join the Lady McCusker facility in Duncraig on a part-time fixed-term basis, working 30.5 hours per fortnight until October 2027. The roster includes Week 1 and Week 2 shifts, and commitment to all days is required.

The role requires a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support, along with experience in medication administration, strong communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a compassionate team to support residents’

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
• Effective communication skills and ability to develop relationships with residents.
• Previous experience administering medications.
• Valid Police Clearance no older than 6 months (or ability to obtain at interview).
• NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview).
• Evidence of current Flu vaccination.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
• Available to attend a compulsory 4 day induction at our Rivervale Training Institute.

Responsibilities

• Support residents' physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing through individualised care delivery.
• Assist with residents' care needs in line with their care plan.
• Collaborate with team members to promote a harmonious working environment.
• Support and advocate the rights of older people.
• Assist with personal hygiene, showering and toileting.
• Assist with activities of daily living, dressing and grooming.
• Assist at meal times including feeding.
• Administer medication.
