Placements24 in Randburg is seeking a highly organized Leisure and Events Coordinator to design and run a diverse calendar of social events, workshops, and recreational activities for residents and members.

You will handle venue setup, catering, entertainment, vendor coordination, and post-event evaluation, ensuring exceptional participant satisfaction in a dynamic Gauteng leisure environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Recreation, or a related field.
• Proven experience coordinating leisure activities and events with a strong portfolio of successful functions.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in event management software and standard office applications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute a variety of leisure activities, including social events, workshops, and recreational sports.
• Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue setup, catering, entertainment, and vendor management.
• Develop promotional materials and marketing plans to ensure high participation rates for all activities and events.
• Manage event budgets effectively, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
