Placements24 is seeking an energetic and community-oriented Community Project Facilitator to drive local development initiatives in Soweto, Gauteng. The role involves working directly with community members to identify needs, develop project plans, and facilitate the implementation of programs aimed at improving livelihoods and social well-being in the Gauteng area.

You will be a key link between the organization and the community, fostering participation and ensuring project sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Engage with community members to identify needs and priorities.
• Facilitate participatory planning processes for community projects.
• Support implementation of projects with community ownership in mind.
• Provide training and capacity building to community members and local groups.
• Monitor progress, document activities, and report outcomes.
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders and stakeholders.
