Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Community Facilitator to join our Social Support team in Soweto. You will connect residents with essential services, assess needs, and guide families to available programs, resources, and grants.

This role emphasizes empathy, strong communication, and the ability to work with diverse communities. You will travel within the Soweto area, organize community workshops, and maintain records of referrals and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 minimum; higher qualification is advantageous.
• Experience in community-based social support or client services.
• Knowledge of Soweto area social services.
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills.
• Ability to work empathetically with diverse populations.
• Willingness to travel and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Identify social support needs and provide guidance.
