Placements24 is seeking a passionate Community Health Promoter to join our team in Vereeniging. The role focuses on educating and empowering community members to adopt healthier lifestyles and access essential health services throughout Gauteng.

You will develop and implement health promotion initiatives, raise awareness of health issues, and collaborate with local clinics, NGOs, and government health departments to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Health Sciences, Public Health, Community Development, or a related field.
• Experience in community health promotion or a similar public health role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of health issues prevalent in South Africa.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse community groups.
• Willingness to travel within the Vereeniging area and engage in fieldwork.
