Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Community Health Nurse to serve the Vereeniging area. You will promote health, prevent disease, and provide essential primary healthcare services directly within the community, working with individuals, families, and groups to address health needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN qualification and be registered with the SANC.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in community health nursing or related field required.
• Strong clinical skills in primary healthcare assessment and intervention.
• Excellent communication, counseling, and health education abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments and provide primary nursing care in community settings.
• Implement and manage health promotion programs focusing on maternal/child health, chronic disease management, and infectious disease control.
• Educate community members on health issues, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyles.
• Facilitate referrals to clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare services.
• Administer immunizations and basic medical treatments as per scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to community health data collection.
