Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a passionate Community Health Advocate to serve the residents of Mahikeng. You will promote health awareness, facilitate access to healthcare services, and empower individuals and families to make informed decisions about their well-being.

You will conduct health needs assessments, deliver education on prevention and chronic disease management, and help community members navigate the healthcare system and connect to social support services.

Qualifications

• Degree or qualification in Community Health, Public Health, Nursing, or Social Work.
• Experience in community health or health advocacy preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health needs assessments within the community to identify health issues and barriers to care.
