You will handle diverse commercial disputes from inception to resolution, including trials and appeals, manage case files, perform in-depth research, draft pleadings, and represent clients in court and ADR.

The ideal candidate is admitted to the High Court of South Africa with at least 6 years post-qualification experience in commercial

• Admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, with fidelity fund certificate.
• 6+ years post-qualification experience in commercial litigation.
• Proven success handling complex commercial disputes including trials.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in handling a diverse range of commercial disputes, from inception through to resolution, including trials and appeals. You will be responsible for managing case files, conducting thorough legal research, drafting pleadings, and representing clients in court and alternative dispute resolution forums. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters, ensuring timely and effective progression.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other court documents.
• Represent clients in all stages of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appellate proceedings.
