The successful candidate will have a proven track record, strong advocacy, and deep knowledge of civil procedure and commercial law, with ability to advise on risk and dispute resolution options.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of dedicated commercial litigation experience required.
• Admitted to the High Court with strong civil procedure knowledge.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex litigation files and conduct thorough legal research.
• Experience in arbitration, mediation, and other ADR forums preferred.
• Strong advocacy and analytical capabilities in commercial law.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of diverse commercial litigation matters including contract and shareholder disputes.
• Prepare pleadings, affidavits, and court documents with precision.
• Conduct discovery, document review, interrogatories, and witness examinations.
• Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations.

About the Role

This role demands a candidate with a proven track record in managing complex commercial disputes from inception through to resolution. You will be responsible for representing clients in court, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution forums, providing strategic counsel and robust advocacy. The successful applicant will possess exceptional analytical skills, persuasive courtroom presence, and a deep understanding of commercial law principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of diverse commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, shareholder disputes, and debt recovery.
• Prepare pleadings, affidavits, and other court documents with precision and clarity.

Requirements
