Placements24 is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join their expanding legal team and work remotely across South Africa. You will manage complex disputes, advise on litigation strategy, and represent clients in varied forums from a fully remote setup.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of proven experience in commercial disputes, deep knowledge of South African commercial law and civil procedure, and excellent negotiation and advocacy skills for remote hearings.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with strong track record in commercial litigation.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in handling complex commercial disputes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong advocacy capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial litigation cases from initiation to conclusion.
• Prepare and file all necessary legal documents, including notices, applications, and pleadings.
• Conduct thorough legal research and develop compelling arguments for court proceedings.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Oversee discovery processes, including document management and e-discovery.
