GAP Consulting in Gauteng is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Executive to manage client portfolios within the short-term and commercial insurance sector. The role requires proven skills in new business development, client retention and insurer negotiations.

Candidates must hold RE5 Certification and FAIS compliance, an NQF 4/5 in Short-Term Insurance or an equivalent qualification, plus proficiency in MS Office. A valid driver’s license and reliable transport are essential.

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Commercial Insurance Account Executive or related role.
• Proven experience in client portfolio management, new business development and client retention.
• Strong knowledge of Commercial Insurance, Personal Lines and underwriting principles.
• Valid driver’s license and own transport

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Commercial Insurance Account Executive | Portfolio Manager | Account Manager within the Short-Term Insurance | Commercial Insurance | Insurance Brokerage Industry
• RE5 Certification | FAIS Compliance | NQF Level 4/5 in Short-Term Insurance or Industry-Recognised Qualification required
• Proficient in MS Office | Excel | Outlook | Word essential
• Proven experience in Client Portfolio Management | New Business Development | Client Retention essential
• Strong knowledge of Commercial Insurance | Personal Lines | Assets All Risks | Travel Insurance | Underwriting Principles | Policy Structures will be beneficial
• Experience in Client Risk Assessments | Insurance Quotations | Policy Renewals | Insurer Negotiations | Regulatory Compliance required
• Excellent English Communication Skills | Strong Sales and Negotiation Skills essential
• Valid Driver's License and own Transport required
• Contactable References and Payslips required

Salary Structure:

• Basic Salary negotiable based on experience
