Job summary

Network Finance in Gauteng seeks a commercially astute Financial Controller to own the financial function, partnering with senior stakeholders to drive performance and business decisions. This role strengthens controls and translates financial insight into action within a technology/energy context.

You will lead a finance team, oversee reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, and ensure compliance and robust governance while fostering operational efficiency and strategic partnering.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification essential.
• 5+ years' post-articles experience.
• Previous experience in a Financial Controller, Financial Manager or similar senior finance role.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Commercially minded with strong business partnering capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee monthly financial reporting and month-end close processes.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial statements and management reporting.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and overall financial performance.
• Oversee audit, tax, statutory and compliance requirements.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and reporting processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and operational efficiency.
• Partner with senior management and operational stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
