Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking and plating.
• Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and standards.
• Contribute to menu development and creation of daily specials with a seafood focus.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standard of quality, taste and presentation.
• Maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, adhering to health regulations.
• Manage inventory levels of food supplies, conduct stock takes, and minimize waste.
• Assist in training new kitchen staff and ongoing skill development.
• Uphold the restaurant's culinary philosophy and brand image.
