Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a skilled HVAC Design Engineer to join a building services team in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. You will design and specify HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects, performing load calculations and selecting equipment to meet energy efficiency goals.

Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with HVAC/building services specialization.
- 5+ years designing HVAC for commercial and industrial projects.
- Proficient with Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP and HAP software.
- Strong grasp of energy modelling and sustainable design.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop HVAC systems with load calculations and equipment sizing.
- Create drawings, schematics, and specifications using relevant software.
- Ensure compliance with codes, energy standards, and client needs.
- Coordinate with architects and engineers to integrate systems.
- Visit sites for surveys and support during installation.
- Troubleshoot design issues during project execution.
