Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC system design.
• Proficiency in CAD software and HVAC design and analysis tools (Revit MEP, HAP).
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and building science principles.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE, SANS).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for working within a project team in Benoni.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify HVAC systems, including air handling units, chillers, boilers, ductwork, and piping.
• Develop detailed HVAC drawings and schematics using CAD software.
• Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system performance analysis.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, standards, and energy efficiency regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate HVAC systems effectively into overall building design.
