Job summary

Lesaka Technologies Inc. in South Africa is seeking a Cloud & DevOps Manager to design, build and operate scalable cloud platforms that power Africa's Merchant Operating Platform.

You will lead a team of Cloud and DevOps engineers, drive IaC, CI/CD, security controls and platform reliability, partnering with Architecture, Security, Applications and Infrastructure to deliver reliable software and agile delivery.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, DevOps or Platform Operations.
• Led cloud or infrastructure engineering teams for 4–5+ years.
• Experience managing enterprise cloud-hosted environments.
• Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, Kubernetes and container platforms.
• Experience with monitoring, observability and SRE practices.
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud platform operations across production, development and test environments.
• Ensure high availability, resilience and operational stability of cloud services.
• Drive IaC adoption using automation-first principles.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices across teams.
• Embed cloud security controls and governance throughout delivery lifecycle.
• Partner with Architecture, Security, Applications and Infrastructure teams to enable reliable software delivery.
