Job summary

Sandi Crowther Recruitment is seeking a candidate for a clothing coordination role in Durban. The ideal candidate will coordinate buyer projections, orders, and factory indents, and ensure accuracy of delivery dates, pricing and colours. You will liaise with suppliers, manage samples and approvals, and keep records up to date.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines across stakeholders in clothing manufacturing/retail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in clothing coordination, merchandising or a similar role within the clothing manufacturing / retail / fashion industry.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and confident in managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate buyer projections, orders, costing and factory indents; check orders for accuracy, including delivery dates, pricing and colours.
• Load orders and costings onto Swift and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with suppliers and factories regarding fits, lab dips, strike-offs, PPS / BPS and approvals.
• Follow up on samples, approvals, amendments and re-submissions.
• Communicate regularly with buyers, planners, factories and shipping teams.
• Issue factory instructions, order copies and packing requirements.
• Monitor production and upcoming deliveries, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Assist with target reports and resolve queries relating to orders, packing lists and barcode labels.
