Job summary

Vine Recruitment seeks an experienced Operations Manager for its client, a leading financial services company, at Head Office in Paarl. The role focuses on managing day-to-day operational support for clients, agents and payroll services, onboarding, contracts, and training, while building strong relationships with clients and agents.

The ideal candidate will have a BCom or equivalent, 5+ years in operations or financial services, and strong reporting, Excel and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• BCom degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in operations, client services, financial services or a related environment.
• Strong knowledge of operational and process management.
• Experience with payroll administration and financial reconciliations.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Excellent reporting and analytical abilities.
• Advanced Excel skills advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational support for clients, agents and payroll services.
• Manage client onboarding, documentation, contracts and training.
• Build and maintain strong client and agent relationships.
• Handle agent commission calculations, payments and reporting.
• Oversee payroll payments, corrections, queries and weekly reconciliations.
• Manage card distribution, stock and inventory records.
• Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports and analyse trends.
• Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Ensure operational procedures, records and compliance requirements are maintained.
• Provide operational support and reporting to senior management.
