Job summary

Old Mutual South Africa seeks a customer-focused adviser to provide product guidance to a defined market and be individually accountable for delivering results through personal effort.

You will handle inquiries, update CRM data, clarify customer needs using a multilevel sales script, develop relationships through calls or visits, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards while supporting business development and data-driven sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 4 - Grade 12 or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service and sales support desirable.
• Ability to interview customers using a multilevel sales script.

Responsibilities

• Carry out standard customer service activities and handle simple customer inquiries.
• Assess compliance with established standards and protocols for routine inquiries.
• Receive visitors and assist with information requests, referring more complex matters.
• Ensure basic customer details in the CRM are accurate and note follow-up actions.
• Interview the customer using a multilevel sales script to clarify requirements.
• Make calls to allocated potential customers to develop relationships and be first contact for queries.
• Follow mandatory procedures to ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Carry out routine business development support tasks.
• Identify potential customers and sales opportunities from information provided.
• Input data into spreadsheets and maintain data quality.
• Demonstrate understanding of networking value by engaging with networks.
