Job summary

Responsibilities include following regulatory and internal codes of conduct, supporting business development tasks, and recording follow-up actions and sales activities in the system.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 5 or higher qualification is required.
• Ability to interview customers using a sales script to clarify requirements.
• Ability to follow established procedures to meet quality standards.
• Experience in customer service within financial services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out standard customer service activities and handle simple inquiries.
• Assess compliance with standards and protocols for routine inquiries.
• Receive visitors and assist with information requests, referring complex matters.
• Ensure customer details in the system are accurate and note follow-up actions.
• Interview customers to clarify requirements using a multilevel sales script.
• Make calls to allocated potential customers to develop relationships and be first contact for queries.
• Follow mandatory procedures to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Support routine business development tasks following established procedures.
• Identify potential customers by obtaining referrals and recommendations.
• Input data from information provided into spreadsheets or standard formats.
• Demonstrate understanding of networking value by engaging with relevant stakeholders.
