Placements24 is seeking a diligent Construction Site Supervisor to oversee civil infrastructure projects in the Paarl area, Western Cape. You will manage daily site operations, ensure work aligns with plans, specs and safety standards, and lead on-site teams and subcontractors to deliver high-quality infrastructure for the community.

The ideal candidate will have proven site supervision experience, strong leadership and a hands-on approach, with a solid understanding of civil construction

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Supervisor or Foreman in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to health and safety standards on site.
• Relevant trade qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of construction crews and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality control standards.
• Implement and enforce health and safety regulations; conduct site inspections and safety briefings.
• Coordinate delivery of materials and equipment to the site.
• Monitor work progress and report daily to the Project Manager.
• Maintain site records, including logs, timesheets and incident reports.
