Placements24 seeks a proactive Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on multiple sites around Paarl. You will lead site teams, coordinate trades, ensure adherence to plans, quality, and safety, and drive efficient project delivery in the Cape Winelands.

The role emphasizes practical leadership, strong communication, and meticulous organization. You will read drawings, manage logistics, and enforce safety standards while traveling between sites within the Paarl region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Site Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building materials, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team.
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to different sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of construction workers and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Manage site logistics, including material delivery, equipment usage, and site security.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, tradespeople, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and report any site issues or discrepancies to the project manager promptly.
