Job summary

AECOM in Durban, South Africa, is seeking a Engineer – General Civils to lead design and planning of civil infrastructure projects across markets, with emphasis on earthworks, roads, stormwater, sewer and water systems. Qualifications

Solid experience in civil infrastructural design (earthworks, roads, water, sewer) across project stages.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Knowledge of ProjectWise and BIM360.
Experience with 12D Model or MicroStation is advantageous.
Experience on international projects and BIM delivery across multidisciplinary teams.
Strong communication and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Design and planning of civil infrastructure across market sectors.
Design development, design review, coordination and resource management.
Ad-hoc site supervision and preparation/review of deliverables (calculations, reports, drawings, BOQ, specs).
Guide junior engineers and coordinate small to mid-sized teams on projects, including international work.
