Placements24 is seeking a strategic Civil Engineering Design Manager to lead the design division in Sandton. This senior role oversees civil design across diverse projects, ensuring technical excellence, innovation, and efficient delivery while guiding engineers and drafters.

You will mentor the team, coordinate with project managers, clients and construction teams, ensure compliance with standards, and help shape Gauteng infrastructure through cutting-edge solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is essential.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in civil engineering design, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.
• Proven expertise in roads, water, bulk earthworks.
• Strong knowledge of design software and project management tools.
