Placements24 seeks a skilled Civil Engineer focusing on transportation design to join our Stellenbosch team. You will design roads, intersections, and related transport infrastructure, ensuring safe and sustainable mobility for the Cape Winelands region.

You will collaborate with urban planners and traffic engineers to deliver high-quality projects that meet community needs, while adhering to standards and improving connectivity.

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation engineering and road design.
• Proficiency in transportation design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or MX Road.

Responsibilities

• Design roads, highways, interchanges and associated infrastructure.
• Conduct traffic analysis and implement traffic management solutions.
• Prepare geometric design plans, cross-sections and drainage designs.
• Ensure designs comply with national standards and local requirements.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
