• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management within a child-focused nonprofit environment.
• Extensive knowledge of child development theories, best practices, and related educational/social support systems.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and evaluate complex programs.
• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and evaluate child development programs aligned with organizational goals and best practices.
• Oversee day-to-day program operations including budgeting, resources, and staff supervision.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance program delivery.
• Monitor outcomes, collect data, and generate reports to assess effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and reporting for charitable organizations.
• Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers; foster a positive work environment.
• Develop and manage program budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grant proposals and donor relations.
• Advocate for the rights and needs of children in George and beyond.
