Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process design, development, or optimization.
• Expertise in using chemical process simulation software and thermodynamic packages.
• Strong understanding of unit operations, reaction engineering, and mass/energy balances.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple design tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and detailed designs for chemical processes, including PFDs and P&IDs.
• Utilize process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, ChemCAD) to model, analyze, and optimize process performance.
• Perform equipment sizing and specification for reactors, separators, heat exchangers, and other process units.
• Conduct feasibility studies and economic evaluations for new process designs and plant modifications.
• Troubleshoot process issues and provide technical support to plant operations.
• Stay current with advancements in chemical engineering design and simulation technologies.
