Job summary

Jelocorp Group in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Account Manager to grow relationships with independent retailers, dealers and distributor partners through channel sales and account development.

You will manage stock, pricing, negotiations, and drive in-store visibility while tracking performance and protecting margins. Willingness to travel regionally and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Solid sales experience within independent retail, dealer or distributor channels.
• Experience in consumer electronics or home appliances will be advantageous.
• Proven experience managing distributor relationships and independent retail accounts.
• Working knowledge of channel pricing, trading terms, stock management and promotional planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with independent dealers and distributor partners.
• Oversee distributor relationships, including order management, stock levels, sell-through performance and payment follow-ups.
• Prepare and manage weekly PSI reports covering purchases, sales and inventory.
• Identify and onboard new independent dealers to expand market coverage.
• Negotiate pricing, trading terms and promotional support within approved guidelines.
• Drive in-store product visibility, product ranging and brand representation across independent retail channels.
• Monitor dealer and distributor performance against sales targets and address underperformance.
• Track channel pricing to maintain pricing consistency and protect profit margins.
• Prepare regular sales, stock and channel performance reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve sell-in, sell-out and overall account profitability.
• Resolve order, delivery and service-related escalations in collaboration with supply chain and administration teams.
• Provide guidance and support to dealer-level sales staff where required.
