Job summary

JVR Software in Tshwane is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and repair digital display systems at client sites across South Africa. The role requires hands-on electrical knowledge, fault-finding, and the ability to travel extensively.

You will diagnose hardware, software, networking and electrical faults, monitor systems for uptime, and liaise with client IT and electricians. A valid SA driver’s license and strong communication skills are essential.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ field service experience.
• Strong PC, networking and troubleshooting skills.
• Electrical knowledge and fault-finding experience.
• Experience using hand and power tools for installations.
• Ability to work independently and manage site activities.
• Excellent communication, reporting and organizational skills.
• Valid South African driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
• Good physical health and ability to lift equipment up to 40 kg.
• Practical experience with drilling, grinding, mounting and installations.
• Basic electrical knowledge and fault-finding ability.
• Comfortable working on-site and at heights where required.
• Willingness to travel to client sites across South Africa.
