Our client, a prominent FMCG company, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead Centurion operations in Gauteng. You will oversee procurement, logistics, warehousing and distribution, and drive efficiency across the supply chain to deliver high service levels.

The role requires 7+ years in operations or logistics, strong leadership, and a track record of cost reduction. You will work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic FMCG environment and shape operational strategy in Gauteng.

Qualifications

7+ years in operations management, supply chain or logistics.
Experience improving efficiency and reducing costs in FMCG or similar sectors.
Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Oversee procurement, logistics, warehousing and distribution for Centurion operations.
Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Manage inventory to balance service levels and holding costs.
Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering high performance.
Implement KPIs to monitor efficiency and drive improvements.
Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with sales, finance and production to align goals.
Drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and best practices.
Manage relationships with 3PLs and suppliers.
Develop and manage the operational budget and financial targets.
