Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end operations in Centurion, Gauteng. The role covers procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution, with a focus on efficiency, cost reduction, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Supply Chain/related field with 7+ years FMCG experience, strong leadership, vendor management, and ERP/SCM software proficiency. Relocation to Centurion is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field is required.
Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably FMCG.
Proven expertise in inventory management, demand planning and logistics.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.
Demonstrated leadership with ability to manage and motivate teams.
Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is advantageous; relocation to Centurion, Gauteng may be required.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support business objectives.
Manage procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and transportation.
Optimize processes to reduce costs and improve service levels.
Negotiate contracts and build relationships with suppliers and logistics providers.
