Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a CCTV Operator for Springs stores to render a secure service under the Private Security Industry Regulations Act. You will monitor CCTV footage, control access, and investigate disturbances to protect Dis-Chem assets.

The role requires vigilance, professional conduct, and adherence to SOPs. Essential requirements include Grade 12, PSIRA Grade C, and 1–3 years of CCTV control room experience in warehousing, with Hikvision experience.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 / Matric and PSIRA Grade C accreditation.
• 1-3 years CCTV control room experience in warehousing/distribution.
• At least 1 year CCTV control room experience in pharmaceutical warehousing with Hikvision.

Responsibilities

• Be vigilant and alert to identify suspicious activities and inform Security Guards.
• Monitor and control access to the premises and regulate entry for authorized individuals.
• Investigate and report signs of damage or unlawful entry to management for protection of assets.
• Maintain professional and courteous conduct when receiving guests, customers and staff.
• Protect company assets from theft, vandalism and dishonest acts.
• Remain at post when on duty and monitor surveillance footage as required.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and post-incident incident reporting.
• Provide assistance to emergency teams in case of incidents.
