Job summary

International Facilities Services is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to plan, organise and manage the on-site catering function, including kitchen and dining room operations. You will ensure client expectations are met in terms of food quality, hygiene and service standards.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, stock control and service excellence with daily liaison with the site manager and Executive Chef where applicable.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of food production and service standards.
• Experience in budgeting, stock management and cost control.
• Proven leadership and staff-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and manage the catering function on site, including kitchen and dining room operations.
• Liaise with site manager on catering issues and ensure client expectations are met.
• Maintain hygiene, safety and environmental standards in line with SOPs and regulations.
• Monitor stock levels, forecasts and purchases; manage inventories and meals planning.
• Lead and develop catering staff; conduct meetings and performance appraisals.
• Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared to spec and on time.
