Job summary

Careserv in Benoni is seeking an energetic Catering Manager to lead our team, plan and deliver catering services in hospital and retirement village environments. The role reports to the Project Manager and requires a hands-on approach.

You will manage staff, budgets, stock, and menus, ensuring top-notch service while maintaining safety standards. Must have own transport and reside in the area.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Must be great at BOH, follow specifications and working within budget.
• Be creative within the budget.
• Strong computer skills.
• Understanding of diets, including IDDSI.
• Excellent communication and a flair for people.
• Preferably have 1st-Aid certificate.
• Strong understanding of OHS.
• Previous catering/hospitality management experience in a hospital and retirement villages would be advantageous.
• Someone dynamic, creative and ready to make things happen.
• MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT AND LIVE IN AREA.
