Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Catering Operations Lead to manage and drive excellence in all aspects of catering services from procurement to service delivery. You will lead a dedicated team, oversee inventory, and ensure profitability while maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of catering operations, health and safety standards, and a passion for delivering outstanding culinary experiences across the Northern Cape region.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in catering operations management or a similar leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
• Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision‑making skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the catering department, ensuring seamless service delivery.
• Oversee inventory management, including procurement, storage, and cost control of food and supplies.
• Supervise, train, and motivate the catering team to achieve high performance standards.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and maintain quality.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
