Job summary

Tsebo Solutions Group is seeking a Catering Manager based in Randfontein, Gauteng. The role entails supervising catering staff, managing daily operations, staff scheduling, training, and performance management to deliver exceptional service.

You will ensure food safety, maintain financial records, assist with stock control, invoicing, banking, budgeting, and monthly reporting, while building strong client relationships and driving cost-control initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory and team leadership skills.
• Sound knowledge of catering operations and food service management.
• Bookkeeping and financial administration experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support the Catering Manager in the daily management of the catering operation.
• Supervise and lead catering staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, training, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, hygiene, and company standards.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and customers.
• Assist in managing stock control, stock takes, purchasing, and waste control.
• Process invoices, supplier reconciliations, and creditor documentation.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records.
• Assist with cash-ups, revenue reconciliation, and banking processes.
• Support budget control and cost management initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, spreadsheets, and operational records.
• Assist with monthly reporting and Profit & Loss preparation.
• Ensure administrative processes and documentation are completed accurately and timeously.
