Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is essential.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience in cashier/till operations.
• Computer literate – MS Office.
• Sound numerical skills.
• Strong command of English.
• Willing and able to work retail hours.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Dis-Chem’s customer service policies and procedures.
• Establish a professional relationship with customers.
• Report customer complaints and compliments to the Frontline Supervisor or store management.
• Adhere to the customer turnover hourly rate.
• Be aware of current sales and promotions.
• Carry out and manage cash flow and till operations.
• Process all payments and loyalty cards accurately.
• Ensure cash is kept safely and securely.
